Call to Colorado Regional Meeting of Friends Fall Gathering
Please join us for this cherished opportunity for shared spiritual growth, Quaker fellowship, and fun!
Mary Lord will present, "Peace begins at home."
We look forward to welcoming you at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado.
The Friday evening welcome program will include fellowship with Friends, a short Meeting for Worship for Business, and singing.
The Saturday morning program includes early worship, worship sharing, and Keynote Speaker: Mary Lord, who will be addressing the theme of the gathering.
Saturday afternoon will include the opportunity for extended worship, meditation or free time, followed by a second presentation by the keynote speaker.
Saturday evening includes the ever-popular Creativity Night.
The children’s program begins on Saturday morning and includes childcare and activities for all age groups. Children are to be in their groups or under the care of their parents at all times. Parents need to be mindful to pick up children promptly at designated times and places.
The centerpieces of First Day morning will be our worship together, along with Meeting for Worship for Business.
Fall Gathering concludes after lunch. We must be out of our sleeping rooms by 10 am.
Lodging will be in one of the Eastside Lodges: rooms have at least one queen bed and two bunk beds. Be sure to let the Registrars know if you have special needs. If there are those attending with whom you would like to share rooms, please note this on the registration form. While efforts will be made to accommodate preferences, roommates or numbers of roommates cannot be guaranteed.
Meals will be eaten at one of the YMCA’s dining halls.
Registration is due by September 17. Confirmation letters will be sent following receipt of your registration.
Financial Assistance: Both Colorado Regional and Monthly Meeting Financial Assistance Funds are available. Everyone who needs financial assistance is encouraged to request it in advance from either your Monthly Meeting or Colorado Regional Meeting. See separate Financial Assistance form for details.
