QUAKER WOMEN'S RETREAT - REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEB. 11: The Quaker Women's Retreat will be March 12-14 at Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center near Allenspark. Come enjoy springtime in the Rockies with Quaker women from Colorado and Wyoming. The theme will be "Immigration: Just Like Us." On Saturday, Mountain View Friends Meeting's Helen Thorpe will discuss her book that follows the fortunes of four bright high school girls of Mexican descent and Danielle Short will reflect on her experiences working on immigrant rights for the American Friends Service Committee. Come for the entire weekend or for only part of the weekend. Financial assistance is available from Quaker Women's Retreat. The registration form is attached.
