Friendly Dinners
What? Meet monthly for dinner with a group of Friends from Mountain View Friends Meeting.
Why? Friendly Dinners offer us another way to build in the meeting community.
How? We, the organizers, will form groups of around 8 people (who don’t know each other well yet) and give the names to someone in the group willing to host the first dinner. Plan to make new relationships!
How long? In order for everybody to get past the hand-shake stage, the same groups will meet for 9 months.
Format? At the first dinner, the group will decide the format for the rest of the dinners, that is, to rotate locations, potluck vs. taking turns cooking, etc.
Structure? Please indicate if you would prefer a group that would use queries to share and discuss, or if you prefer an unstructured social evening.
When? Starting in January
